Key Stage 1 Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Havering. This part-time role is perfect for someone enthusiastic about making a difference in young learners' lives by delivering focused support for Key Stage 1 students, particularly those needing additional help with literacy and numeracy.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a primary school, ideally in Key Stage 1 or in intervention roles. A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, but not essential. Strong communication, empathy, patience, and a positive approach to supporting young learners are essential skills for this role. Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Progress tracking and recording students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and supporting individualized learning plans are also key responsibilities. Additionally, the successful candidate will support the smooth running of daily classroom activities, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
