About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Graduate Land Surveyor to join our team at Dalcour Maclaren. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality surveying services to our clients across various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site surveys, collect data, and set out works on behalf of DM and their clients, utilizing Total Station, Laser Scanning, handheld GNSS, and Electromagnetic Location equipment.
  • Process survey data in accordance with departmental best practices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Produce maps and plans to support fast-paced projects, meeting company standards for quality and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with the team to obtain, manage, and analyze data from various sources, including the Land Registry, Ordnance Survey, Environment Agency, Local Authorities, and Utility companies.
  • Ensure the maintenance and calibration of survey equipment, adhering to organizational policies and requirements.
  • Work under guidance on projects and requests, ensuring requirements and objectives are met, building positive relationships, and taking ownership of the standard of work.
  • Maintain good records, including meeting notes, expense claims, and comprehensive file updates and records of activities, to provide regular client updates.
Requirements
  • Excellent IT skills, with a good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word packages.
  • Ability to manage large amounts of both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Comfortable meeting people on-site, including colleagues, clients, landowners, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to site and project locations.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude.
