Charles Hunter Associates is seeking a highly skilled Child Protection Specialist to join their MASH Assessments Team.

About the Role

This challenging role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in Frontline and assessment work. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for making informed decisions regarding referrals and ensuring the correct outcome for children and their families.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Social Work and have experience working within Frontline Teams, such as Child Protection and Referral and Assessment. A strong understanding of the referral process and ability to make accurate judgments are essential for this role.

We offer a competitive salary of £50 per hour (Umbrella PAYE payment options available) for this office-based position with a 9-5 schedule. Parking is available on site or nearby, and the location is easily accessible by car or public transport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take calls from incoming referrals and make informed decisions regarding service referrals.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure accurate outcomes for children and their families.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Frontline Teams and referral processes.
Requirements
  • Degree in Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW).
  • Minimum 3 years post qualified experience in Frontline and assessment work.
  • Experience working within Frontline Teams, such as Child Protection and Referral and Assessment.
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Access to own vehicle.
