Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will undertake ultrasound examinations to ensure a smooth and efficient service, providing high standards of sonography practice and patient care.

They will be responsible for providing general, abdominal, gynaecological, and obstetric ultrasound scanning services in conjunction with other Advanced Practitioners in Ultrasound and Radiologists.

The Imaging department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including acute hospitals and community hospitals.

They will be expected to participate in audits and quality assurance programmes to develop the team and department.
