We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Haematologist to join our team at University Hospital Monklands, NHS Lanarkshire.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the provision of a pan-Lanarkshire Clinical and Laboratory Haematology service. As a Consultant Haematologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and developing a specialist interest in either malignant or non-malignant haematology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in haematology
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with haematological disorders
- Contribute to the development of haematology services across Lanarkshire
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and videoconferencing
- Supervise and educate junior medical staff
