About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our team at Curtiss-Wright Corporation. As an Application Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our internal and external sales teams, providing technical expertise and guidance on control valve projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with engineering teams at our Brecksville, Ohio and Edmonton, Alberta locations to support sales teams and resolve technical issues.
- Develop and deliver technical training to internal teams and translate complex technical information into non-technical language for external audiences.
- Provide applications engineering support across Curtiss-Wright business, including spring design, bellows design, trim selection, valve configuration, sizing, and selection.
- Assist with local Engineering Admin Support and may travel to customer sites to assist with control valve projects.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically with control valves and/or safety valves engineering.
What We Offer:
A comprehensive product and process familiarization training package will be provided, covering our product portfolio. This training will be delivered at our facilities in Brecksville, Ohio and Edmonton, Alberta. The successful candidate will need to be ready and available to travel for an initial training period of up to 3 weeks at each facility.
