Reliability Validation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our team at Entech Technical Solutions Ltd. As a Mechanical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for developing verification and validation plans for complex mechanical rotating and reciprocating systems.

The ideal candidate will have good experience of using data analysis and test results to aid in developing verification and validation plans. You will also have experience in trouble shooting, which includes data analysis, and be able to drive decision making from test data reviews and end of test inspections.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £24-£26 per hour and some hybrid working options available. The role is initially for 6-12 months, with the possibility of extending beyond this period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate system and component validation plans (DVP Design Verification Plan) based on risk identified within DFMEAs (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis)
  • Deliver assigned projects end to end: specify test requirements and define machine, drivetrain build, and instrumentation requirements through collaboration with relevant engineering teams
  • Machine testing: overseeing validation test work on internal machines
  • Analyse data as appropriate based on the test work being delivered
