We're seeking a highly experienced professional to join our team as Vice President of Development. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of clean energy and contribute to a global leader in sustainable energy development.

As Vice President of Development, you will be responsible for leading and delivering projects with strategic focus, operational efficiency, and a clear alignment with our mission. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to drive project success and advance our mission.
  2. Project Execution: Oversee entitlement, interconnection, and permitting processes to ensure projects achieve critical milestones on time and within budget.
  3. Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with teams to refine project design and overcome regulatory, technical, and environmental challenges.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with local communities, permitting authorities, and utilities to support seamless project progression.
  5. Team Management: Manage third-party consultants to incorporate specialized expertise into project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of renewable energy project development, particularly in solar and BESS. A minimum of 7 years of leadership experience is required, along with exceptional project management skills and expertise in GIS, real estate evaluation, and site compliance.

We are offering an estimated salary range of $180,000-$220,000 per year, depending on experience. Climate17 offers a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
