**Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Support Worker in a Residential Home**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Team Leader to join our dynamic team at a 6-Bed Residential Home for children and young adults aged 5-18 in the Swindon area.
The successful candidate will lead and motivate a team of support workers to deliver outstanding care, develop and implement individualized care plans, and foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for residents and staff.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and motivate a team of support workers to deliver outstanding care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for residents and staff.
- Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social activities.
- Monitor and document young people's progress, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Support effective multi-agency working and positive relationships with staff, the local community, local authorities, other professional agencies, and significant others involved in the young person's life.
- Conduct training and development sessions for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Promote and encourage the participation of young people in the decision-making process of the home and the wider community, and assist in seeking information and advice from appropriate sources.
- Adhere to the company's Safeguarding Policies and Procedures.
