About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Real Estate Tax Leader to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to our real estate clients on a wide range of matters, including acquisitions, disposals, financing, development, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic tax planning advice to real estate clients on complex transactions and investments.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews for real estate acquisitions and disposals.
  • Prepare and review tax returns for real estate entities.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and regulations affecting the real estate industry.
  • Manage a team of tax professionals and develop their skills and expertise.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) and/or CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA, law qualification).
  • Significant UK corporate tax experience gained within the profession and/or industry.
  • Strong understanding of specialist taxes and their application in the real estate sector.
  • Excellent project management skills, working with various teams including cross-border work.
  • Proven ability to manage people and clients effectively.
