Project Overview:

We are recruiting a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a major infrastructure highways project in the Huntingdon area. The project involves the expansion of a significant roundabout, presenting an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to make a significant impact.

About the Role:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the financial and contractual management of the project, ensuring it meets financial targets and stays on track. You will work closely with the project team and client to deliver the project successfully.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and forecast project costs, budgets, and financial performance
  2. Administer NEC contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
  3. Conduct regular site visits to oversee cost control and monitor progress
  4. Collaborate closely with the project team and client to ensure smooth delivery
  5. Prepare and negotiate final accounts and resolve any financial disputes
  6. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior surveyors as needed
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on large-scale highways or infrastructure projects
  2. Strong knowledge and experience with NEC contracts
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team
  4. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate cost reporting

The salary for this position is estimated to be £62,000-£82,000 per annum, depending on experience.
