Cyber Security Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at Atlas Recruitment Group Ltd. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and integrating secure systems for our clients in the defence industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure systems and products for defence clients
  • Assess and manage risk in line with industry good practice (NIST, ISO)
  • Develop and implement security baselines, mitigations, and controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure product development
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging threats

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a STEM subject or Information Security
  • Recognised industry security qualifications (CCP, CISSP, CISM)
  • Proven experience in assessing and managing risk
  • Significant experience with security baselines, mitigations, and controls
  • Knowledge of MOD policies and regulations (SPF, JSP 440, JSP604)
