Job Title: Freelance SIA Tutor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Freelance SIA Tutor to join our team at Learning Curve Group. As a Freelance SIA Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our learners, ensuring they achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a timetable of teaching, learning, and assessment as agreed with your Tutor Delivery Manager.
  • Undertake qualification delivery planning in collaboration with team members to ensure compliance with external requirements.
  • Provide support systems to facilitate positive retention, achievement, and progression among learners.
  • Complete E-registers in a timely manner to the required standards.
  • Monitor attendance and performance of learners on an ongoing basis and report to management effectively.
  • Ensure learner requirements are dealt with quickly and effectively.
  • Deliver teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure a positive learner experience and timely achievement.
  • Complete individual learning plans and progress reviews as required, including setting smart targets.
  • Submit portfolios in a timely manner for interim and summative verification and work with the IV to ensure quality improvement.
  • Participate in learning and development activities as required for the job role and maintain a record of all CPD.
  • Contribute to learner disciplinary action requirements as needed.
  • Attend standardization and team meetings at designated centers to develop team and individual performance.

Promote and ensure safe working practices and safeguarding of learners in line with current Health and Safety legislation and LCG Safeguarding and Prevent policies.

Essential Criteria:
  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Qualification.
  • Hold an Assessing Qualification.
  • Have relevant occupational experience in the sector you are applying for.
  • Hold Level 3 and above sector qualifications.
  • Have access to and use of your own resources.
