Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Associate Director with a proven track record in infrastructure project controls to lead major programs within the Yorkshire region. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise to drive successful project delivery and contribute to the growth of our regional business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement bespoke Project Controls Execution Plans tailored to client requirements across major programs, projects, and portfolios.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to integrated Project Controls teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Demonstrate deep subject matter expertise in one or more key project controls disciplines, such as Planning, Cost Control, Risk Management, Change Management, Data & Analytics.
  • Actively contribute to shaping the direction of our regional business by sharing your insights, innovative ideas, and commitment to operational excellence.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Contribute to problem definition, solution development, and service growth initiatives.
  • Support business development efforts through bid preparation, proposal writing, stakeholder engagement, and resource management.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience within the infrastructure sector, particularly in Rail, Water and Environment, Defence, or Nuclear.
  • Relevant APM qualifications and accreditations.
  • Expertise in Project Controls Systems such as Primavera, @Risk, Safran, Project Online, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction management principles.
  • PMO experience and a strong understanding of contracts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (D365).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
