Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Deputy Lead to join our team in Denmark. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our vaccination program, ensuring that all clinical staff work within established policies and standards. Your primary focus will be on monitoring vaccination programs, addressing safeguarding concerns, and providing support to Senior Management for compliance-related matters.
Responsibilities:
- Program Monitoring: Ensure that vaccination programs are running safely and to high clinical standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
- Safeguarding: Address safeguarding concerns raised by nurses, escalate to the Clinical Director, and attend quarterly supervision provided by Sikkerrejse.
- Compliance: Provide support to Senior Management for all compliance-related matters, ensuring we operate according to regulations.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records for all formal and informal clinical supervision, staff training and recruitment, and incidents and complaints to comply with CQC standards.
- CQC Inspections: Attend CQC inspections as required.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct annual performance development reviews for clinical staff, assessing clinical competencies and ensuring that clinical staff undertake a comprehensive clinical induction.
- Training and Support: Document training and support sessions according to Sikkerrejse standards and requirements.
- Incident Reporting: Work with Senior Management to ensure accurate recording of clinical incidents and complaints, allocate investigating officers appropriately, and complete outcome forms.
- Liaison: Act as a liaison with Senior Management to ensure organisational learning and patient safety are optimised.
- New Staff Induction: Assist in recruiting nursing staff and allocating mentors for new nursing staff, as well as undertaking the induction process for new staff.
- Formal Supervision: Plan and implement formal clinical supervision sessions with immunisation nurses at a minimum interval of every three months.
Requirements:
- Nursing Qualification: Nurses and Midwives currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and a Nursing and/or Midwifery Qualification.
- Immunisation Experience: Evidence of ongoing professional development and Immunisation essential.
- Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational, time-management, and record keeping skills.
Benefits:
Sikkerrejse offers a competitive salary package, including a salary of approximately 65,000 - 75,000 DKK per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as pension contribution, supermarket and high-street discounts, employee assistant programme, employee referral scheme, and 25 days annual leave.
