Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Walmart. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for directing and guiding members of management and hourly associates on proper customer service approaches and techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and guide associates on customer service approaches and techniques.
- Ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines and standards.
- Drive and ensure the financial performance of the facility by confirming that budgeted sales, wages, and other expenses are achieved.
- Participate in community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as good members of the community.
- Direct facility operations by setting the standard for appropriate service levels and teaching effective merchandise presentation.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for members of management and hourly associates.
- Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs.
- Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Ensure business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives.
- 1 year's general management experience to include financial accountability.
- 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's experience supervising 10 associates/employees; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's experience supervising 10 associates/employees.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state specific requirements, a current state issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
- For facilities that sell firearms, a successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.
- Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 20 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000.00-$100,000.00, as well as annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ), Sales Volume Category (SVC), and Complex Structure.
