Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Walmart. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for directing and guiding members of management and hourly associates on proper customer service approaches and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Direct and guide associates on customer service approaches and techniques.
  2. Ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines and standards.
  3. Drive and ensure the financial performance of the facility by confirming that budgeted sales, wages, and other expenses are achieved.
  4. Participate in community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as good members of the community.
  5. Direct facility operations by setting the standard for appropriate service levels and teaching effective merchandise presentation.
  6. Provide supervision and development opportunities for members of management and hourly associates.
  7. Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs.
  8. Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  9. Ensure business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives.
Requirements
  1. 1 year's general management experience to include financial accountability.
  2. 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's experience supervising 10 associates/employees; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's experience supervising 10 associates/employees.
  3. For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state specific requirements, a current state issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
  4. For facilities that sell firearms, a successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.
  5. Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  2. General work experience supervising 20 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000.00-$100,000.00, as well as annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ), Sales Volume Category (SVC), and Complex Structure.
