Estate Groundskeeper

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estate Groundskeeper to join our team as an Under Gardener. This full-time, live-in position offers a unique opportunity to work within a close-knit, two-person gardening team, collaborating closely with the Head Gardener to maintain and enhance the estate's stunning grounds.

What You'll Do

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Working as part of a small team under the guidance of the Head Gardener">
• Conducting regular care and maintenance of herbaceous and shrub borders, seasonal bedding, container plants, and lawn care">
• Undertaking greenhouse duties, kitchen garden maintenance, and assisting with overall landscape care">
• Using and maintaining various gardening tools and machinery">
• Participating in general garden upkeep to ensure the estate gardens remain visually appealing and healthy">

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven gardening experience, ideally in an estate or private garden environment">
• Proficiency in using garden machinery and tools">
• Strong horticultural knowledge across a range of plant care, garden maintenance, and landscape management practices">
• Physical fitness, with the stamina to perform various gardening tasks effectively">
• Ability to work on-site every other weekend">
