Laser Machine Operative Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client's team in Swadlincote. As a Fibre Laser Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and meeting quality standards.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to work on a temporary to permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to read technical drawings, and possess basic computer skills.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily maintenance of machinery, pre-use checks, and use of production software. You will also operate fibre lasers, FLT equipment, and check parts against drawings, segregating cut parts into correct packs.

Requirements

Bystronic laser experience is preferred, but not essential as training can be provided. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to use basic computer functions and measuring equipment such as micrometre/Vernier calliper.
