Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Trainee Upholsterer at our Northern Hub in Chorley, Lancashire. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality upholstery services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Strip and reupholster existing gym equipment pads
• Manufacture gym equipment pads using existing templates
• Use CNC machines to create new templates for gym equipment pads
• Operate sewing machines to manufacture new upholstery covers
• Measure bespoke jobs and manufacture according to design specifications
• Use a variety of infills, including foam
• Embroider onto upholstery covers to complete bespoke works
• Work on a range of upholstery projects, including gym equipment pads, superyacht interiors, seating, and furniture

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you will need to have two GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above in English and Maths. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided on the job. We are looking for individuals with a can-do attitude, a willingness to learn, excellent time-keeping skills, attention to detail, and good communication and teamwork skills.
