About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Support Worker to join our team in Cromer, Norfolk. As a Support Worker, you will be working within a residential home for adults with severe and moderate learning disabilities, Autism, Mental health issues, physical disabilities, bipolar, Epilepsy, seasonal affective disorder, PICA (eating disorder), Severe Speech and Language Delay Disorder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily tasks using the training provided.
  • Support individuals in day-to-day life, including social visits, family visits, and days out.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date paperwork to capture essential information for each person living in the home.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, families, and external organisations to provide comprehensive support.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and taking responsibilities seriously.
  • Effective decision-making and judgement skills.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills.
  • Adherence to Health & Safety standards.
