Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Midwife with recent UK experience to join our team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for providing continuous monitoring and care for patients who are critically ill, including those in emergency situations, planned admissions, and post-operative care.

You will perform vital tasks such as taking blood samples and monitoring vital signs for patients across various admission types. Your calm demeanor and methodical approach will help ensure patients feel secure and cared for.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Band 5 Midwife, your duties will include:

  • Providing continuous monitoring and care for patients.
  • Supporting emergency admissions, planned admissions, and post-operative patients and their families by communicating clinical information effectively.
  • Preparing and assembling necessary medical equipment.
  • Adhering to the NMC professional Code of Conduct.
  • Performing blood draws and patient observations as needed.
  • Writing care plans and conducting assessments.
  • Coordinating patient admissions and discharges.

Qualifications:

Essential qualifications include:

  • Registered Midwife status.
  • A minimum of 6 months post-graduate UK experience.
  • Recent relevant UK experience within the last 3 years.
  • Successful completion of an enhanced background check.
