Pharmacy Technician Medicines Optimisation Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279). As a Pharmacy Technician Medicines Optimisation Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medicines management services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and dispense medicines for in-patients and out-patients, ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to SOPs.
- Accurately record batch numbers and expiry dates of named patient medications, unlicensed medications, and human blood products.
- Perform final accuracy checks on dispensed items, following completion of the National Accreditation Accredited Checking Technician course.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- NVQ level 3 - Pharmacy Services or equivalent (or working towards).
- Registration (or eligibility to register) with the GPhC.
- Evidence of championing diversity in previous roles (as appropriate to role).
- Evidence of undertaking own development to improve understanding of equalities issues.
