About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Insights Analyst to join our Product and Engineering team at UNiDAYS. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in uncovering trends in data and making insight-led recommendations that drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on and deliver analytical projects that derive actionable insights to support business growth
  • Plan and manage insight projects end-to-end, ensuring clear alignment to business value
  • Ensure technical delivery across projects is appropriate and fit-for-purpose
  • Provide and present findings and recommendations to the business
  • Manage clear stakeholder communications throughout the project
  • Manage concurrent insight projects
  • Support managers within the team to develop an insight roadmap
  • Identify opportunities to add value through insights
  • Take ownership of key insight focus areas within the team, managing workload and stakeholder relationships
  • Lead stakeholder relationships to follow up on projects and see through recommendations
  • Support ad-hoc requests into the team, taking responsibility for finding solutions to automate ongoing requests
  • Support the development of best practices around statistics, coding, visualisation, storytelling, QA, and project delivery
  • Be an ambassador for the team, raising the profile of the team through showcasing insight work across the business
  • Adhere to Data Governance guidelines, ensuring we leverage and share the right data at the right times
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Insight Analyst with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights to support business decision-making. You will have experience in:

  • Delivering actionable insights to support marketing, commercial, product, operational, and/or strategic decisions
  • Taking a business question or problem and turning it into an insight brief
  • Driving actionable insights from data
  • Devising solutions to solve data and analytics problems
  • Extracting data from various sources and bringing it together for analysis
  • Applying a range of analytical and statistical techniques to answer a variety of analytical questions, with familiarity with some more advanced techniques such as A/B testing and forecasting
  • Managing project work of yourself and others, effectively planning parts of the project and delegating to other insight analysts accordingly
  • Insight storytelling and presenting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Data visualisation
  • Using data warehouse and BI platforms, including metric creation, and report/dashboard/visualisation development
  • Hypothesis definition, designing, implementing, and analysing out A/B tests
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets, and experience in using Python/R for advanced analysis
  • Familiarity in using data warehouse and BI platforms, including metric creation, report/dashboard/visualisation development
