This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team, lead projects with confidence, and excel in your technical field. As a Senior Sustainability and Environmental Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing projects related to environmental permitting and compliance within Ramboll's framework.
  • Conducting comprehensive environmental audits, managing large-scale multinational audit programs, and staying up-to-date with UK regulatory requirements.
  • Utilizing expertise in environmental permitting and best available techniques (BAT) to evaluate risks and devise effective mitigation strategies.
  • Aiding clients in achieving and enhancing compliance with ISO 14001 standards through detailed audits and targeted gap analysis.
  • Leading the creation of detailed reports and proposals, maintaining consistent client communication, and cultivating strong partnerships for project success.

About the Team

You will be part of our Compliance, Strategy & Transactions (CST) Team operating within our Environment & Health (E&H) Market.

As a Senior Sustainability and Environmental Consultant, you will be part of a fast-growing team providing environmental, health and safety compliance and environmental permitting support to national and multi-national clients. Our team helps clients achieve their plans for expansion and change while applying a high level of environmental control.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of the environmental, health & safety regulatory regime applied across the UK and experience of auditing and compliance assessment processes.

Key qualifications include:

  • Proficient in identifying environmental risks and liabilities.
  • Demonstrable experience in environmental, health and safety consultancy (or similar level of experience with environmental regulations).
