Are you a skilled Building Services Design Engineer looking for a new challenge?

This role could be perfect for you if you have 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, a passion for HVAC and energy-efficient systems, and are ready for your next challenge.

As a Building Services Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and managing mechanical systems for a variety of projects.

Your role will involve everything from conducting site surveys to collaborating with clients and design teams to deliver innovative and efficient solutions.

Your duties would include but not be limited to:

  1. Collaborate with clients and design teams to establish mechanical requirements
  2. Conduct site surveys to assess project needs and assist in pricing installation works
  3. Research and apply the latest engineering methods and technologies
  4. Document design processes and prepare technical reports
  5. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery
  6. Liaise with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers for project coherence
  7. Stay updated on industry advancements and design trends
  8. Present design proposals to clients and external teams

What We're Looking For:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum of 5 year's experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
  3. Strong knowledge of design principles and best practices
  4. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD
  5. Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
  6. Chartered Engineer status
  7. Experience in designing HVAC, Air Source/Ground Source Heat Pumps, and related systems
