GSL Education is currently recruiting a number of compassionate and experienced SEND Admins to join our outstanding client schools in various locations.
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and administrative professional to support our students with SEND. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining accurate records, coordinating individualized support plans, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain accurate records of students with SEND
- Coordinate individualized support plans and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure effective communication and provision of support
- Assist in the assessment and identification of students with SEND
- Monitor the progress of students and provide regular feedback to the SEND Coordinator
- Support teachers in implementing appropriate accommodations and strategies in the classroom
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a similar role, preferably within a Secondary School
- Sound knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students and their families
