About the Role

The Sound Check Operations Manager will lead the partnership between The Learning Foundry and Future Yard CIC, driving the development of highly effective and cohesive operating models across all Sound Check funded learning programmes.

As a key member of the Sound Check delivery team, you will be responsible for managing inspiring and engaging programmes for young people and adults, leading to better outcomes through skills development, knowledge acquisition, and behaviour change.

You will work closely with the Sound Check delivery partnership team to raise and maintain a high Quality of Education, aligning with OFSTED Education Inspection Framework and meeting contractual and funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Sound Check partnership team in developing and implementing effective operating models.
  • Manage the development and delivery of Sound Check funded learning programmes.
  • Work closely with the Sound Check delivery team to ensure high-quality education and training.
  • Collaborate with The Learning Foundry and Future Yard CIC to meet contractual and funding requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement to deliver sustainable, profitable growth of Sound Check.

Requirements

  • Experience leading and managing teams within the education and skills sector.
  • Strong knowledge of funding compliance and quality assurance.
  • Passion for working within the live music sector.
  • Excellent partnership skills and ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make confident decisions.
  • Strong IT skills and data analysis.
  • Performance management skills with a track record of setting and achieving targets.
