Android Developer - Mobile Engineering

Are you passionate about creating innovative mobile applications that make a difference in people's lives? Do you have a strong background in Android development and a keen eye for detail? We're looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our mobile engineering team at ING Deutschland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and requirements
  • Write and maintain comprehensive automated unit and integration tests
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development tools and technologies
  • Guide and mentor junior developers through code reviews and pair programming

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in mobile Android development with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
  • Experience in writing and maintaining comprehensive automated unit and integration tests
  • Knowledge of material design and Android UI design guidelines
  • Familiarity with backend communication (REST and JSON) of apps
  • Strong understanding of memory management, concurrency, and multi-threading
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
