About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Theatre Scrub Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of operating theatres, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during operations, providing support and expertise as required.
  • Monitor and maintain patient safety and well-being throughout the surgical process.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC).
  • Post-registration experience in a theatre scrubbing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
