Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in the nuclear industry. They will be required to liaise with build organisations and provide engineering support to ensure that the as-built product reflects the design intent.

  • Understand key requirements and critical dimensions for major structural components.
  • Take lead on design changes that affect major structural components.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree level qualification, with a strong understanding of mechanical drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. They will also have experience in weld engineering and Non-Destructive Examination techniques.

  1. Engineering degree level qualification – Mechanical or Structural as a discipline.
  2. Awareness of weld engineering and Non-Destructive Examination techniques.
