Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge? Alex Young Recruitment Limited has an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join their team covering various educational buildings in Cambridge city centre.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shift times alternating weekly between 06:00 and 15:00 and 09:00 to 18:00. The successful candidate will also participate in the on-call rota.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a recognised trade apprenticeship or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice). They should also possess experience in design and installation techniques, Competent Person L8 experience, Asbestos Awareness, and a driving license.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and reactive maintenance services for electrical systems and equipment
  • Investigate and resolve electrical system faults
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide an excellent benefits package including 25 days leave, 2 volunteering days leave, pension, company share scheme, cycle to work scheme, employee assistance programme, and access to LinkedIn training.
