About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Programme Delivery Manager to join our team at CityFibre. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of our fibre optic programme, ensuring that we meet our ambitious targets and deliver high-quality results to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of our fibre optic programme, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage and mitigate risks to the programme, ensuring that we are always prepared for any challenges that may arise.
  • Line manage a team of up to 12 direct reports, providing coaching, development, and mentoring to drive performance and achieve our goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple highways authorities, ensuring that we have a clear understanding of their requirements and can deliver our programme accordingly.
  • Manage operational relationships with all suppliers, providing a clear and articulate view of progress across agreed delivery plans.
  • Manage multiple interfaces within a matrix environment, demonstrating effective communication and stakeholder skills.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing large complex delivery programmes through partners and suppliers.
  • Fibre Optic / Cabling Installation experience (certifications where applicable).
  • NRSWA Qualification.
  • Experience building and maintaining strong senior level relationships, internally and externally, to drive positive outputs.
  • Demonstrable experience in a leadership role where KPIs such as time, cost, and quality have been key to success.
  • Full Driver's License that is valid in the UK.
