UHI North, West and Hebrides is a leading academic partner in the UK's further and higher education sector. We are currently recruiting for a Supply Hair & Beauty Instructor to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced instructor to develop student skills, assess their work, and provide feedback at our Fort William and Portree campus.

This role involves working under the direction of appointed College staff, engaging with students to deliver instruction and training across various levels and programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing student skills through structured episodes of instruction and training
  • Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback
  • Working collaboratively with College staff to achieve programme goals

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years up-to-date industry experience working in the related trade
  • Industry-related qualifications at NC level or above
  • Experience as a trainer/instructor or teaching qualification desirable

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £34,237 per annum, pro-rata, with variable hours as required.
