Corporation Account Manager

Role Overview:
As a key member of our Corporate Sales team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional account management services to our UK-based business clients. Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Sales, you will be responsible for providing both desk and field-based account management to drive sales growth and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of specialist service areas within the sales team, including product, Voice, and Data.
- Develop and execute strategies to create opportunities for all products Chess sell, aligning with the product strategy – Cyber, ICT, Cloud Telephony, and Network.
- Establish and maintain key client relationships to deliver exceptional customer service and drive long-term business growth.
- Deliver new business wins within identified customer profiles, utilizing your expertise and knowledge of the Telecoms industry.
- Present clear and accurate proposals to customers, tailored to their needs and requirements.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of project opportunities and milestones, ensuring seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary interface between clients and Chess ICT, providing exceptional communication and support.
- Conduct thorough client profiling to understand customer visions, goals, and strategies, linking these to effective IT solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the technical architect team to deliver innovative and tailored solutions.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual profit targets, driving business growth and success.
- Act as a role model and mentor for the wider sales team, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance performance and drive results.
- Maintain a strong understanding of enterprise and infrastructure architecture, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the Telecoms industry, with a strong understanding of Chess's portfolio.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Negotiation and listening skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong business and market awareness, with the ability to analyze data and drive business growth.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to create accurate proposals and reports.
- Planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Training and mentoring experience, with the ability to develop and coach team members.
- Self-driven and motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box and deliver innovative solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Package Details:
Salary: Up to £40,000 dependent on experience, with an uncapped commission plan and £400 per month car allowance.

Working Arrangements:
A standard week is 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, with the option to work from home or one of our local hubs. Ad-hoc travel to offices within the group and other locations may be required.
