Second-in-Command Culinary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at beBee Professionals in the UK. As the second-in-command, you will play a crucial role in managing the kitchen and ensuring exceptional food quality and hygiene standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan menus and prepare food.
• Supervise the kitchen team and maintain a smooth service operation.
• Evaluate and improve kitchen processes to increase efficiency.
• Develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills.
• Oversee inventory management and supply ordering.
• Take charge of the kitchen when the Head Chef is absent.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Innovative approach to cooking with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
• Effective leadership and team management skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).

Compensation Package:

• Estimated annual salary: £42,000 - £52,000.
