We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at beBee Professionals in the UK. As the second-in-command, you will play a crucial role in managing the kitchen and ensuring exceptional food quality and hygiene standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan menus and prepare food.
- Supervise the kitchen team and maintain a smooth service operation.
- Evaluate and improve kitchen processes to increase efficiency.
- Develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills.
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering.
- Take charge of the kitchen when the Head Chef is absent.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Innovative approach to cooking with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Effective leadership and team management skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).
Compensation Package:
- Estimated annual salary: £42,000 - £52,000.
