About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant with BSL qualifications to support two pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a welcoming school that values inclusion and equality.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the class teacher to support the academic progress of two children with a Hearing Impairment, both in group settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting teachers in lesson delivery, classroom management, and fostering a positive learning environment
  • Providing individualised support to pupils facing learning challenges to ensure comprehension of the curriculum
  • Aiding in the preparation of teaching materials and organising resources for lessons
  • Establishing positive relationships with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
  • Collaborating effectively with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources, and best practices
Requirements
  • Excellent references showcasing previous experience in KS1/KS2
  • Full employment history
