About the Role:

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team in Barnsley. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people.

Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in the Practice Development Hub, alongside the Practice Development Manager and Principal Social Worker, to develop and drive the practice model, continuous professional development, and training offer for children's social workers and practitioners.
  • Responsibilities will include supporting student social workers on placement, providing supervision, support, and guidance to Newly Qualified social workers, developing and delivering training aligned to the Barnsley Stronger Together practice model, and working closely with the Quality Assurance Team to ensure learning from audit is embedded in training and development.
  • The role also involves working with partners to drive multi-agency working and good practice across services, ensuring staff and teams have the resources and tools to support their professional development, and offering mentoring and support to colleagues.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised Social Work qualification, be registered with Social Work England, and possess significant post-qualification experience, including supervision and mentoring.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. The salary range reflects the company's commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in the field of social work.
