RBUK Legal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RTA Paralegal to join our team. As a key member of our litigation department, you will play a crucial role in managing a caseload of RTA claims, primarily focused on cases within the OIC portal.
Key Responsibilities- Case Management: Manage a caseload of RTA claims, ensuring timely and efficient processing of cases.
- Document Preparation: Draft legal documents, correspondence, and settlement agreements in line with best practices and legal standards.
- Case Record Keeping: Maintain accurate case records using our case management system, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements.
- Client Communication: Provide excellent client care, keeping clients informed of progress and advising them on their legal options.
- Preparation for Court: Assist in the preparation of cases for court, including compiling bundles and preparing briefs for counsel.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with relevant legal developments and changes in the RTA claims process.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience handling RTA claims, with particular experience in the OIC portal.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of RTA law and procedures, including pre-action protocols.
- Skills: Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear advice to clients.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using case management systems and legal software.
