Civil Engineer - Airfield Team

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Airfield Team, working on projects in the UK and abroad. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering civil engineering services across all RIBA work stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and management of civil engineering projects, including traditional and design and build procurement
  • Review and assessment of drawings produced by CAD technicians
  • Identification and mitigation of project risks and opportunities

Requirements:

  • Experience delivering civil engineering services across all RIBA work stages
  • Experience in technical and feasibility studies, including site investigations
  • Experience in design and delivery of new civil infrastructure
  • Experience in review and assessment of alterations to existing civil infrastructure
  • Working towards chartership or chartered status
  • Experience in delivering civil design in accordance with Eurocode and UK Building Regulations
  • Understanding of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, including Principal Designer role

Personal Qualities:

  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills
  • Able to understand client needs and deliver quality engineering outcomes
