Senior Measurement and Inspection Engineer

At HQW Aerospace, we're seeking an experienced Senior Measurement and Inspection Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our precision engineering department, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support incoming inspection, measurement room, and gauge setting activities, utilizing your hands-on expertise.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies and compile dimensional data for FAIR reports.
  • Contribute to New Product Development, failure analysis, and process audits, while mentoring your team.
  • Work closely with the team to tackle tasks like part measurement, visual inspection, calibration, and creating measurement masters.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in a STEM subject, such as Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or Physics, with a strong academic core.
  • Fluent English essential, with other languages desirable but not essential (German preferred).
  • Extensive experience in measurement and inspection roles, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
