Culinary Leadership & Operations

We're seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our Convene team. This is an exceptional opportunity to grow and develop your culinary skills while contributing to the success of our premium hospitality company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of menus, recipes, and operational procedures to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Contribute to company-wide cost savings initiatives and implement efficient kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and execute innovative menu concepts and specials.
  • Ensure a safe and clean kitchen environment, adhering to the highest standards of sanitation and food handling.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive kitchen culture, promoting learning and growth opportunities for the team.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in high-volume food service operations, preferably with a strong background in catering and café management.
  • Excellent knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, and presentation.
  • Proficiency in modern technology, including MS Office, Outlook, and internal systems that support our F&B standards.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to delegate tasks and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
  • Physical demands include standing, sitting, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds, as well as reaching overhead and below the knees.
