We are recruiting for a Drug Safety Associate II role, providing support to the Global Case Management (GCM)/International Pharmacovigilance (IPV) group. The successful candidate will perform daily monitoring of expedited submissions and implementation of the overarching Pharmacovigilance (PV) operations as it relates to businesses Partners, Distributors (International Partner Markets [IPM]), Vendors and the wider PV network that includes stakeholders worldwide and other functional groups.

This is an initial 18-month contract based in Maidenhead offices on a hybrid basis. As a Drug Safety Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Organised Data Collection Programs (ODCPs) process for AE collection to ensure consistency with regulations and departmental goals and objectives.
  • Supporting the collection, analysis, communication, and operational change management process for Regulatory Intelligence related to PV in the Distributor Network.
  • Delivering training to the Distributor Network employees using various instructional techniques and modalities.
  • Monitoring on-time training completion and following up with Distributor Network employees.
  • Preparing data for Distributor Network quarterly meetings and following up on action items.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as attending routine PV meetings for training purposes and ensuring compliance with assigned training.
  • Producing regular and ad-hoc reports to ensure compliance to KPIs.
  • Documenting training requirements from meetings and feedback.
  • Performing ongoing day-to-day tasks including coordination of training services, reconciliation activities, maintenance of meeting minutes, and other ad-hoc projects/activities assigned to meet evolving business needs.

The ideal candidate should have experience working in the Pharmaceutical Industry and possess good technical writing skills to produce clear, concise documentation and communications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel and SharePoint, is also essential. The estimated salary for this role is around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
