Crane and Lifting Equipment Engineer Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Crane and Lifting Equipment Engineer Surveyor to join our team at Pioneer Selection Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our crane and lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of crane and lifting equipment to ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations.
  • Perform repairs and servicing of equipment as needed, using your knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Develop and implement procedures for the safe operation and maintenance of equipment, including training for operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address equipment-related issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in crane and lifting equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements:
  • Hold an HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Marine, or Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have hands-on experience with crane and lifting equipment maintenance, repair, and operation.
  • Knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations and their application to crane and lifting equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and make decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
