We are seeking a skilled Electronics Design Engineer to join our team, contributing to the development of innovative Power electronics systems for Jaguar Land Rover's Mild Hybrid, Plug-In, and Full Electric vehicles.

About the Role:

As a key member of our Power Electronics team, you will design, develop, and shape the future of our DC-to-DC converters. This is a high-visibility position responsible for the development and support of 48V DCDC components, managing these across current car quality issues and future model developments.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and Tier 1 suppliers to ensure that requirements are met, overseeing both hardware and software aspects of DCDC design and development. With a hands-on approach, you will apply your skills in design, validation, and delivery to achieve the highest quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead Quality improvement projects to resolve current vehicle issues through structured processes.
  • Coordinate and deliver requirements for Cycle Plan programmes using PCDS and Agile principles.
  • Lead quality workstreams, including DFMEAs and PPIRs, and control prototype & production releases.
  • Oversee HiL testing and timing plans to ensure robust DCDC performance prior to release.
Requirements:
  • Deep knowledge & understanding of Power electronics and converters.
  • Proficiency in PCDS and Agile (Scrum) for Power Electronics component delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience managing Tier 1 suppliers and project timelines.
  • Skilled in root cause analysis techniques.
