About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide exceptional care to our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of personal and self-care, including administering medication, managing medical equipment, and providing emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Manage medical equipment, including oxygen tanks and a BiPAP ventilator
  • Administer medication as prescribed by medical professionals
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to our client
  • Assist with household chores and meal preparation

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with complex medical needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to drive a large vehicle and obtain insurance
  • Enhanced DBS check required

Working Hours:

The successful candidate will be required to work 24 hours per week, with a mix of days, afternoons, and evenings. The rota will be agreed a month in advance, and preferred days to work/not work will be accommodated where possible.

Rate of Pay:

Weekdays: £22.94 per hour

Saturday: £22.94 per hour

Sunday: £25.05 per hour

Weekday night: £25.02 per hour

Saturday night: £25.02 per hour

Sunday night: £27.04 per hour

Bank Holiday: £25.02 per hour

Bank Holiday night: £27.04 per hour
