About The Role
EKC Group is seeking a skilled Supply Lecturer to join their approved staffing list. As a Supply Lecturer, you will teach, train, and assess students in various learning environments, ensuring a high-quality learning experience. Your role will also involve providing support to learners to enable them to achieve their maximum potential and leading designated study programs and/or courses. The successful candidate will have a level 3 qualification in their engineering discipline and experience in machine shop settings, including teaching lathes, CNC machines, and milling machines.
About You
- You will have a strong background in engineering, with a level 3 qualification in your discipline.
- You will be organized and creative, with the ability to plan and teach engaging and innovative lessons.
- You will have experience in machine shop settings, including teaching lathes, CNC machines, and milling machines.
- You will be able to assess and track students' progress, to further plan intervention.
- You will have a positive outlook and be empathetic towards learners.
The successful candidate will be able to teach a range of designated study programs and/or courses from Level 1 up to Level 3 and will be able to motivate learners to achieve and succeed on their programs of study. Working in Further Education is different from working in a secondary school, as you will be supporting adults and young people in practical environments and machine workshops.
What We Offer
