Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our dynamic and ambitious high-performance engineering team at Innovate. This individual will contribute to a wide range of challenging projects that require technical expertise and initiative.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 years' experience with vehicle electrical systems, hands-on electrical assembly experience, and familiarity with motorsport/automotive data acquisition systems. They will also possess strong analytical skills, the ability to approach problems from first principles, and experience working with drawing office and build procedures.

In this role, you will be responsible for taking ownership of in-house electrical builds and commissioning, working on complete vehicle electrical systems, and collaborating on the integration of electrical systems with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.

Key responsibilities include managing electrical commissioning as part of wider engineering projects, liaising with Tier 1 suppliers and customers, supporting the creation and management of Bills of Materials (BOM), and ensuring electrical designs meet project budgets and timelines.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to work independently and within a team environment, delivering high-quality work and meeting customer requirements. The estimated salary for this position is £42,500 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
