About the Job

As an MET Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers' vehicles are repaired to the highest standards. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out all necessary mechanical and body work on allocated jobs, including ADAS and wheel alignment.
  • Dismantling vehicles ready for the panel shop.
  • Carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
  • Ordering replacement parts.
  • Re-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition.
  • Ensure all work meets the company's quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with the wider team regarding the status of repairs.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced MET Technician who has significant experience working on a range of vehicle types, including electric and hybrid vehicles. You will have high attention to detail and the ability to work skilfully and safely under pressure.

Requirements

  • Significant experience working as an MET from an accident repair background.
  • Training and working knowledge of electric and hybrid vehicles.
  • Competent in ADAS, wheel alignment, strip/refit, mechanical work, and using diagnostic machines.
  • Ability to plan your workload efficiently and effectively.
  • Complete your work in line with manufacturers specifications.
  • Ability to work as part of the team, as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility in your approach, always working to high standards and with customer satisfaction in mind.
  • Follow Health & Safety guidelines at all times.
