### Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Test and Inspect Electrician to join our well-established team. Our company specializes in products and services within fall arrest equipment, electrical testing, building access, fire solutions, and water treatment. ### Role

As a Test and Inspect Electrician, you will be responsible for conducting electrical installation condition reports (EICRs) in various commercial and industrial settings. This requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to identify and report hazardous issues.

Key responsibilities include:

* Inspecting and testing electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment
* Identifying and documenting defects, non-compliances, and potential safety hazards
* Providing clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actions
* Ensuring all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations
* Maintaining and calibrating inspection tools and equipment as required
* Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills

### Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess a proven background in Electrical Engineering, creative problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit. A commitment to excellence and a proactive approach to challenges are essential. Additionally, you should have:

* A City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Inspection and Testing
* NVQ Level 3
* 18th Edition certification
* In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes
* Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
* Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and software for reporting
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* A valid UK driving licence
