About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician Trainee to join our team in a Multisite Accuracy Checking role. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire dispensing process, including checking and preparing medication orders.
- Assist with ensuring utmost accuracy and safety in handling and distributing pharmaceuticals.
- Establish and nurture positive relationships with customers and healthcare professionals.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with courtesy and effectiveness.
- Complete and maintain accurate administrative records.
- Assist in managing the inventory of pharmaceutical stock and equipment.
- Receive, store, and issue medications and other supplies.
- Monitor expiration dates and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Provide healthcare advice and direct customers to appropriate resources when needed.
Working Hours and Pattern
This role requires a 40-hour workweek, with a five-day working pattern covering Monday to Saturday. You will primarily work in pharmacies in Lanarkshire, with the expectation to cover Lothian and Fife if needed.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and hold an NVQ3 qualification. As a Multisite Trainee, you may be required to work in more than one branch per week.
